 John Lee Hooker house fire Many may have heard about the fire that broke out in Mr. Hooker s Los Altos home in the news or other sources, but we wanted to update those who visit the site. John Lee Hooker's house sustained significant damage after a fire broke out in one of the bedrooms on Sunday, July 26. John Lee and his guitars were unharmed and he is carrying on with his schedule as usual. As John Lee put it "It's a shame so many things got burned but you can buy things and you can't buy life - everybody came out safe and that's what's important. These things happen".
