"THE KEYS TO NEW ORLEANS" featuring ALLEN TOUSSAINT, HENRY BUTLER and JON CLEARY

"The Keys to New Orleans" features three Crescent City legends - Allen Toussaint, Henry Butler and Jon Cleary - joining forces for a spectacular tribute to New Orleans music. Legendary producer, pianist, writer, arranger, singer and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Allen Toussaint has collaborated with, produced, or had his songs covered by artists including The Rolling Stones, Bonnie Raitt, The Band, Paul Simon, Joe Cocker, Dr. John and many more. His recent collaboration with Elvis Costello, "The River In Reverse," has garnered a number of honors including a Grammy nomination. When pianist/singer/composer Jon Cleary is not earning rave reviews with his own Absolute Monster Gentlemen band, he can be found on the road with Bonnie Raitt, who calls him "the ninth wonder in the world." Cleary’s music blends old-school soul with the rich musical heritage of New Orleans, and he has lent his talents to recordings by B.B. King, Taj Mahal, Ryan Adams, Eric Burdon and more. A seven-time Blues Award nominee, Henry Butler combines his classically trained piano wizardry with the percussive jazz playing of McCoy Tyner and the New Orleans style of Professor Longhair to craft a sound uniquely his own. A rich amalgam of jazz, Caribbean, classical, pop, R&B and blues influences, his music is as excitingly eclectic as that of his New Orleans birthplace.

"BAYOU TO BOURBON STREET" featuring MARCIA BALL and BEAUSOLEIL

Over the course of her three-decade career, Marcia Ball has developed a large and enthusiastic fan base with her blend of sounds from the Texas-Louisiana border with New Orleans R&B and piano boogie. Her most recent CD, Live Down The Road!, garnered a Grammy nomination, the third of Marcia’s career, and a new CD release is planned for Spring 2008. She has drawn consistent raves from national print media such as Rolling Stone, USA Today, People Magazine, Fortune, Downbeat and Billboard Magazine, with the latter proclaiming, "Ball is a formidable musical force." Her performance with the Cincinnati Symphony in the production "Take Me To The River" was broadcast on PBS last fall, along with appearances on Austin City Limits and in the Robert Mugge film "New Orleans Music In Exile." At the 2007 Blues Music Awards, Marcia took home the Pinetop Perkins Piano Player of the Year award for the third year in a row.

From The Grand Ole Opry to Newport Folk, from concert hall to dance floor, the music of BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet continues to captivate audiences the world over. Since forming in 1975, these Grammy winners have claimed their undisputed role as the most esteemed Cajun group in music. BeauSoleil take the rich Cajun traditions of Louisiana and artfully blend elements of zydeco, New Orleans jazz, Tex-Mex, country, blues and more into a delectable musical recipe. In 2005, The National Endowment For The Arts awarded founder and band leader Michael Doucet their National Heritage Fellowship. The award is the country's highest honor in the folk and traditional arts. With this award, Doucet joined prior Heritage fellows such as B.B. King, Doc Watson and Bill Monroe.

"WE'LL NEVER TURN BACK" starring MAVIS STAPLES

Soul and gospel legend Mavis Staples possesses one of the most recognizable and treasured voices in contemporary music. From her early days sharing lead vocals with her groundbreaking family group, The Staple Singers, to her powerful solo recordings, Mavis Staples is an inspirational force in modern popular culture and music. A fifty-year-plus veteran of the music scene - a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Grammy Lifetime Achievement winner and one of VH1’s “100 Greatest Women of Rock and Roll” - Staples is responsible for blazing a rhythm and blues trail while never relinquishing her gospel roots. Mavis recently released "We’ll Never Turn Back", the most personal album of her solo career and one of the best reviewed albums of 2007. The album was produced by Ry Cooder and combines raw, emotional contemporized versions of some of the freedom songs that provided the soundtrack to the civil rights movement of the 1950s and ‘60s. In the live show, featuring a new touring band, Mavis combines freedom songs the Staple Singers first performed at civil rights marches alongside Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ("Why Are We Treated So Bad?", "Freedom Highway") with the hits of the Staple Singers ("I'll Take You There", "Respect Yourself"), and songs from her latest CD ("Eyes On the Prize", "Down In Mississippi"). More than just an uplifting performance, a Mavis Staples concert is a history lesson with heart and plenty of soul.

Mavis is available to headline her own shows or depending upon budget level and interest she can be successfully packaged with other great artists such as Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars, Ruthie Foster or countless other possibilities. Please talk to your agent about available packaging opportunities.

SIERRA LEONE'S REFUGEE ALL STARS

Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars formed in a refugee camp in the West African nation of Guinea after fleeing the horrific civil war in their native Sierra Leone. An award winning documentary about their story found support from Keith Richards, Angelina Jolie, Ice Cube and Sir Paul McCartney and they have subsequently taken their first person message of peace and the insanity of war to an impressive and varied list of stages (Bonnaroo, Kennedy Center, Fuji Rock Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, Winnipeg Folk and roots, world music and reggae fests, as well as headlining NY's Central Park Summerstage) on five continents in just the past year. They also collaborated with Aerosmith on "Give Peace A Chance" for Amnesty International's hit Darfur focused benefit compilation CD - Instant Karma. They have appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, NPR and CBS and Netflix has taken up distribution of the documentary following its debut on PBS. And in spite of having just arisen from refugee status themselves, the band has already been giving back to others by collaborating with the UN's ninemillion.org campaign, Save The Children, The ONE campaign, Witness and many more. Best of all for audiences is the fact that, in spite of the band's traumatic history, their live performance is one of the most upbeat and jubilant shows you will ever see!
