Growing up in the Northwest, I've noticed the environment is slipping out of tune. From Alaska to California, the destruction of ancient forests has choked our rivers, destroyed salmon runs, and put out fishing industries on the ropes. Earthjustice Legal Defense Fund fights to restore and preserve the Great Northwest through its Fish-Tree-Water Campaign. Their team does battle in court and in Congress to address the negative impacts of logging, grazing, mining, dams and pollution on salmon habitat.
