Black Roses is a collection of new songs by Robert Hunter and Jim Lauderdale. The album features Luther and Cody Dickinson of the North Mississippi Allstars, Spooner Oldham and David Hood. Also featuring Amy Lavere, Shannon McNally, Susan Marshall, Dan Lavery and The Lucero Horns. The album was recorded at the Dickinson's Zebra Recording Ranch Studio in Independence, MS and produced by Luther Dickinson.
Jim Lauderdale is a Grammy Award winning musician and one of the most respected artists working in the Americana music community today. He is considered one of music's "A" list songwriters. Jim has recorded and toured with the likes of Lucinda Williams, Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello, Solomon Burke, Ralph Stanley, Buddy Miller and more.
Blue Moon Junction is Jim's debut acoustic album featuring a collection of new songs written by Robert Hunter and Jim Lauderdale.
