 Robert Cray's "Playin' With My Friends" featured as title track on Tony Bennett's new all star duets CD Tony Bennett will celebrate his 75th birthday this year with the November 6 release of an album of all star duets called "Playin' With My Friends: Bennett Sings the Blues" on RPM Records/Columbia. The album's title track was written by Robert Cray and Dennis Walker. Tony's guests, including Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Wonder, B.B. King, k d lang, Diana Krall, Billy Joel, Sheryl Crow, Kay Starr, and Natalie Cole all join Tony on the track. Charlie Watts And The Tentet Set Tokyo and New York Dates Charlie Watts will take his Tentet on the road in late October and early November for extended runs at the Blue Note clubs in Tokyo and New York. Loudon Wainwright III Is Rolling Stone's Hot Dad Loudon Wainwright III was chosen in Rolling Stone's "Hot" issue (August 30, 2001) as "Hot Dad" for his role in the upcoming Fox/Dreamworks TV sitcom, Undeclared as well as his real life role as a father of four. Undeclared, which debuts on Fox on September 18, was just chosen by Time Magazine as their Critic's Pick of the new TV shows for Fall 2001.
