David Lindley's New CD "Big Twang" Out Now David Lindley's new self-released solo CD Big Twang is available now only at davidlindley.com or in person at Mr. Dave's live performances. The CD features David playing a variety of stringed instruments including Weissenborn, Hawaiian lap steel and violin, among other instruments. On the CD David performs both instrumental tracks as well as new vocal originals such as "Down In The Vatican Library" alongside some of his favorite songs from over the years including Warren Zevon's "Monkey Wash Donkey Rinse", Blind Willie Johnson's "Soul Of A Man" and Steve Earle's "Copperhead Road", among others. David Lindley On Tour With Jackson Browne and Special Guest on Ben Harper CD David Lindley is joining his longtime friend and musical partner Jackson Browne for a tour of Spain, the UK and Australia. The tour began March 9 in Madrid and includes stops in Barcelona, London, Glascow, Sydney and more before wrapping up April 17 at the East Coast Blues & Roots Festival in Byron Bay, Australia. David and Jackson have collaborated on 10 albums to date including Browne's 1977 seven-times platinum, life-on-the-road concept opus Running On Empty. David Lindley Featured on Warren Zevon Tribute Album David Lindley is featured with an all-star lineup on Enjoy Every Sandwich: The Songs of Warren Zevon set for release October 19 on Artemis Records. The album features many of Zevons best-known songs performed by a stunning array of artists including Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne, Don Henley, and many more. David Lindley on World Café - Broadcast Date October 8 David Lindley will be featured on the nationally syndicated radio program, World Café, on Wednesday, October 8, 2003. The World Cafe with David Dye can be heard on more than 160 stations nationwide (U.S.), or online at XPN 88.5. Lindley is a much in demand multi-instrumentalist and master of all things stringed whose recent projects have included live dates with his reunited band El Rayo X and a guest appearance on Warren Zevon's new record "The Wind". ("The Wind" features Lindley playing slide guitar on the record and El Rayo X bandmate Jorge Calderon who co-produced and wrote many of the songs on the album.)
